Can there ever be too many hummus recipes? I didn't think so! I have about 5!
However, this is by far my favorite. I have been craving salads for lunch recently, and I just love hummus on my salads. Salads have to be interesting for me to eat them … I need some vegetables, some fruit, some crunch, and something to dip! This hummus is so fresh and healthy, and so delicious!
Lemony Fresh Hummus

2 cups cooked chickpeas
2 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
2 lemons juiced (about 1/4 – 1/3 cup lemon juice)
1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1/3 – 1/2 cup water (or how ever much it takes to make the right consistency)
Blend together in a food processor. Keep adding water until it becomes the right consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with your vegetables of choice, or on a salad, or straight from the bowl!
