I got this fabulous idea here and I have been so excited ever since!

On each of the 12 days before Christmas, I am leaving little presents for my husband with personalized notes. I think this would be a great idea for kids as well! Since I get up earlier than he does in the morning, I am going to leave them in a spot I know he will see them (next to the coffee pot! LOL!)

I spent this last weekend getting the presents ready, and I will just place them before I leave in the morning. Some of them I wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper, and some I am leaving unwrapped. I am starting this today, 12/13, and I will have presents leading up to December 25, when I will give him the "main" present I got for him.
These are the notes that I created that will go with the gifts. I plan on writing different things inside the cards: things I am thankful for, the different ways I appreciate him, and just little fun stuff!

I am not spending a lot of money on this, but mainly getting (or making) small gifts, and just making a big deal about it! I know he will love it! My husband is so supportive of me, and keeps me going day after day. I want him to know how much he means to me!
For the first day, I made some chocolate covered pretzels for him. He loves the yogurt covered pretzels that you can buy in the store, and I like to get them for him as a treat. I decided to make some for him instead!

Candy Coated Pretzels
Candy coating (vanilla and chocolate)
Mini pretzels

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate. Dip the pretzels in the chocolate, and place on waxed paper to cool. As the candy coating cools, it will solidify.

These are not gluten free, and not the healthiest treat. I did NOT have any as I was making them. I was proud of myself! LOL! They do look and smell good though! I know he will love them, and that is all that matters to me.
Question: Would you consider doing this for a loved one? I can't wait to give him the rest of the gifts I have lined up! (And quite honestly I can't believe I managed to keep this a surprise!! I already told him what part of his birthday present is, and his birthday isn't until May!)
