Prolific and Philosophical

When I first began to journal several years ago, the primary reason was to have my thoughts for the moment recorded so that I could read later and learn. Learn to smile at the journey which has evolved since then especially with my family and friends.

The past 30 plus years have allowed me to enjoy a fruitful living while I immersed myself into the fitness industry. First I became involved as a practitioner, then fabricator, eventually sales, installation, and repair all involving commercial exercise equipment and working out. I subsidized my income continually and even today as a Personal Trainer for adults serious about becoming stronger and healthier.

While learning more about the options regarding exercise equipment I quickly learned while selling at the retail and commercial sales levels that once exercise equipment is built, the life span of the fitness equipment is almost never ending with proper care. Yeah the frames change shape and the colors change every 7 to 10 years but for the most part exercise equipment is about pushing and pulling challenging resistance to help you stay stronger.

I quickly learned that used exercise equipment primarily the used commercial exercise equipment was great to clean, polish, and resell for a large cost savings to the customer and fair profits for the opportunity to know another healthy person. This realization in itself is prolific in expanding my original fitness desires. To not own a gym or fitness center and to daily be able to be involved with helping people across the USA be healthier and stronger. 

My vocation and daily walk is philosophical in that when family and friends wondered 30 years ago if I were going to be able to make a living in what they called "working out", I am in the same business today. Many of their vocations have fallen to the wayside and are less productive.
